Follow the day-to-day of the project: field trips, preliminary results, team reflections and discoveries about the ecological processes studied by SERVICO2. An open window into the scientific work in progress.
The SERVICO2 project studies a little-known but fundamental ecosystem service: the ability of headwater catchmentsf to act as sinks or sources of greenhouse gases such as CO₂, CH₄ or N₂O.
SERVICO2 is a project within the Water4All 2023 Joint Transnational Call, with participation of research institutions from Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden and Finland.

We’ll be investigating how human activities impact headwater catchments and the vital ecosystem services they provide, such as water supply and climate regulation 🌍💧https://t.co/G7QvpKGAzJ
We've been very active with the #SERVICO2 project this April! 🌍

Besides the kickoff meeting, we took part in two international forums:
🔹 ICP-Waters Task Force, presented by our Czech partners!
🔹 4th ACCC Impact Week 2025
